MAF NZ Ltd is a subsidiary of global agro-robotic specialist MAF RODA who have manufactured grading, sorting and packaging lines for fresh fruit and vegetables for more than 50 years.

The New Zealand division opened in 2004 and is led by Kiwi Simon Hunt who has 14 years’ experience in the agro-robotic industry, and as a shareholder has an invested interest in the successful outcomes for MAF NZ customers. With expertise in engineering, project management and business administration, Simon has entensive experience helping develop, commercialise and take new smart technology products to market. Other key MAF NZ staff have previously worked directly for MAF RODA in France and their input remains highly sought-after on projects around the world.

As the General Manager, Simon and his team work in partnership with clients to deliver a customised solution to meet their production throughput expectations, product specification and packaging needs. MAF NZ team work with packhouse management and staff on-site so you can confidently embrace, and get the most out of, your new automated system.

All MAF components are manufactured in France, Spain and Australia and are shipped directly to our New Zealand clients. Our team of international mechanical and electronic experts fly in to oversee your installation. We also involve local tradesmen so you have access to ongoing support In conjunction with MAF NZ.

We typically spend 4 – 6 weeks commissioning and handing over your new equipment. We also provide on-going service, support and maintenance based on our local expertise and the support of MAF RODA’s worldwide network.
